Observability Modernization

Situation

A Fortune 100 financial services company relied on global support dashboards used by more than 30,000 agents worldwide. Over time, the platform had become outdated, with database structures that slowed performance and limited scalability.

Leadership lacked clear visibility across regions and business units, while leads struggled with limited insights and cumbersome workflows. The client also needed to ensure seamless integration with existing SSO and directory services and prepare the platform for future AI-driven capabilities.

"Nuvolant transformed our global support dashboarding into a modern, secure, and future-ready platform that gives us real-time insights and positions us for AI-driven innovation."

Solution

Nuvolant partnered with the client to completely modernize and re-architect the dashboard.

The team redesigned the database schema and ETL processes to enable faster data summarization and aggregation, and built a custom application to retrieve and capture data while writing directly to APIs.

A dynamic new web interface was developed, allowing insights to be segmented by market, region, business unit, or agent group. Administrative controls were added to give managers greater flexibility, and the entire solution was fully documented to ensure smooth handoff and maintainability.

The architecture was designed with the future in mind, setting the stage for a Phase II AI integration to support pattern recognition and anomaly detection.

Outcome

The transformation delivered immediate impact. Agents and managers gained access to thoughtfully surfaced insights and visualizations, improving productivity across the board. Leadership achieved real-time visibility into global KPIs, enhancing decision-making and operational oversight.

By eliminating legacy constraints and preparing for AI-driven innovation, the client is now positioned to operate smarter, faster, and with greater confidence in its support operations.
